User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; InfoPath.2)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070725 Firefox/2.0.0.6
I installed the most updated Mozilla, and it's giving me the same bug: When I open 2 or more tabs, and closed all the tabs except the first tab, it keeps the name of the website of the last tab I clicked on even after I closed the tab.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open 2 in one Firefox window
2.Go to the second tab by clicking on it
3.Close the second tab by clicking the "X" icon
Actual Results:
Now, the first tab is displayed, but it keeps the name of the website of the second tab because it was the last one opened. Therefore, the first tab is wrongly labelled which is confusing. If I opened gmail on first tab, and hotmail on second tab, and I close the second tab, the first tab says hotmail instead of gmail.
Expected Results:
It should update the label. It should not keep the name of the second tab after it has been closed and is no longer displayed. It should display the name of the actual tab being displayed, that is gmail in my case.
Internet explorer works fine in this situation.

I tested with Firefox 2.0.0.9 on Windows XP but couldn't reproduce the reported problem.
It could be caused by an incompatible extension or theme. Please try running Firefox in its safe-mode to find this out: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode_(Firefox)
Also a reinstallation in a new empty folder or a new profile might help.
