Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Build Identifier: 1.3.1 If one attempts to create a new run for a product which does not yet have any builds, one is forced to first create a build. But then, one lands on a confirmation page for the build and has to start the new run process over. It would be better if Testopia kept the user on track to create the new run s/he started to do. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Point browser at http://landfill.bugzilla.org/testopia_tip and login 2. Select "Testopia:New Run" link. 3. Enter "6" as the "plan id" and then select the "Use This Test Plan" link. 4. Note large red-background error message. Select the "here" link to create a new build. 5. Select "add new" link. 6. Add values for both the "Build Name" and "Build Description" fields, then select the "Submit" button. Actual Results: The workflow to set up a new run has been broken. The user lands on a confirmation page for the new build, and has to re-start the process of creating a new run. Expected Results: The user should land on the same "New Run" page as s/he would if a build did already exist.
In the new model, one can enter a build name and have it auto created. Meaning the use no longer needs to leave the page to create builds or environements for that matter.
