See upcoming screenshots, taken with fresh profile using: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b2pre) Gecko/2007110809 Minefield/3.0b2pre Pretty sure this is just a bug in the tinderbox code.
... but this did regress from Firefox 2.
This screenshot shows vertical and horizontal scrollbars. The scrollbars sort of make sense, given that the email address is really long. It'd be nice if they weren't there, though.
This screenshot is more broken. Main questions for this one: 1. Why is the "Checkins within 24 hours" text wrapped? roc's email address is short, and there's no reason. 2. Why is the tranlucent div shifted more to the left (covering up the times) than in the other screenshots?

(In reply to comment #5) > 1. Why is the "Checkins within 24 hours" text wrapped? roc's email address is > short, and there's no reason. From a little exploring, it looks like a partial explanation for all this is: - By default, the translucent div isn't wide enough to fit "Checkins within 24 hours" using the large-ish Linux default font, so that text gets wrapped. - If the email address is longer (like the working smontagu example), the div stretches a bit, and we can fit "Checkins within 24 hours" all on one line. - If the email address is longer still (like the broken bugzilla@ example), we slap a horizontal scrollbar on, which adds some height and makes us need a vertical scrollbar as well.
(In reply to comment #2) > ... but this did regress from Firefox 2. The regression from Firefox 2 is the fact that "Checkins within 24 hours" wraps for short email addresses (and thus requires a vertical scrollbar, due to the added height). I'll file a bug on this. The other aspects of this bug (namely the fact that we use scrollbars at all when that div is too big, e.g. with "bugzilla@") *were* present in Firefox 2. I think that part is a Tinderbox bug.
