User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 1.0.0.6 Every time email is closed, it loses my messages until I reload the Thunderbird setup. When it is rerun and the email reopens my messages are there. How can I retain them without rerunning setup? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Close email 2.Reopen email 3.Indication is Done but no email shows in the Inbox Actual Results: Rerun the setup and messages return when it launches Thunderbird again. Expected Results: Happens every time the same way. Retained and displayed my messages when Thunderbird was closed.
Sounds odd, are you sure it's the "correct" thunderbird you start each time? (Not some other, old version that is also installed on your system.) Anything in the Error Console (see the Tools menu)?
Thunderbird 1.0.0.6? It's quite old use latest version. And you don't tell us if you are using IMAP or POP3.
