User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b1) Gecko/2007110903 Firefox/3.0b1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b1) Gecko/2007110903 Firefox/3.0b1 Hi, when I start a conversation with a contact using the integrated chat client in "newer version" of gmail, the title of the message box is an ellipsis ("...") instead of the contact's name. It works just fine in Firefox 2.0., and in 3.0b1 under the "older version" of gmail. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log into gmail 2. Ensure you're using the "new" gmail version 3. Click on a contact name to initiate a chat Actual Results: A conversation window opens with an ellipsis as the title Expected Results: The resultant conversation window should have the contact's name as its title.

I also confirm this bug consistently displays a "..." instead of contact name
Just to confirm it's there in "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2007122004 Minefield/3.0b3pre" as well.
!!! ....BIG BUG.... !!! duplicate with bugs: 409398 410039 404306 403208 409053 solution? ...Better Gmail 2 by Grease Monkey.... BG2s functionality that the new mail count is in Tabs name first (instead of !Gmail - inbox (234)") doesnt work, but it solves the names in chat window keywords for search(so there is no more duplicates of the bug): gmail, gtalk, chat, name, ...

How come this is only "normal" severity? And there's no sign of anyone trying to fix it? It MUST be fixed before the release of version 3!
