Crashes are mostly caused by add-ons but also other causes are possible:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_crashes
Once you have determined the cause of the crash and you have steps to reproduce which result in a crash in most cases, you could post a Talkback ID here for possible investigation: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Talkback

No problem on http://www.frihost.com/forums/vt-45057.html with Firefox 2.0.0.9 on Windows XP. Have you tried:
- Firefox's safe-mode to exclude extension/theme problems
- a new profile
- a reinstall in a new empty folder?
