When creating all day events, the alarm is always set by default. It would be good to have an option under Alarm Defaults to turn this off.
OS: Linux → All
Hardware: PC → All
You can do this since several releases via Tools -> Options (-> Lightning) -> Alarms -> Default Alarm for Events -> On/Off.
No, this is about all day events specifically. In my case I'd like events to default to On, but events marked as all day to default to off. I keep getting back from being on leave to find a load of reminders telling me not to forget to be away. ;-)
