1.5.4 is coming soon for another Gecko fire-drill.  We have a good collection of bugs we want to take this time, though.

Here are the draft relnotes for 1.5.4.  

We're still waiting on the XPT/component audit to land, but we won't relnote that, and hopefully we can get these notes approved and off to l10n while we finish up the audit.

Sounds kind of weird with all of those menus close to each other, and I don't like the leading "The".  How about "Sub-menus in the History menu"?

I think we might want to include a note along the lines of "Improved compatibility with some DHTML websites."

No-one could come up with anything better than "Improved compatibility with some DHTML websites." so we went with that.  I made the sub-menu change.

Landed on the trunk, MOZILLA_1_8_BRANCH, and CAMINO_1_5_BRANCH with accompanying changes to installer/Makefile.in to use these notes.

Marcello/Markus: hold off on telling l10n to start translating...there's a late-breaking Gecko regression brewing....

The relnotes need to be changed to have the Gecko release be 1.8.1.11.

Hmm, apparently since I checked in to the CAMINO_1_5_BRANCH first, something strange happened and the relnotes file didn't actually commit on the trunk/18branch.  Bonsai's showing an actual checkin for it now (and cvs up gets me the file on the 18branch), so looks like this time took.  

Sorry about that, and thanks for catching it.

Leaving open for the real final relnotes....

We decided this morning we're just changing the Gecko number and none of the other text.

I landed the s/1.8.1.10/1.8.1.11/ version on the trunk, MOZILLA_1_8_BRANCH, and CAMINO_1_5_BRANCH.
