Cant we make calling nsIDOMFile.getAsText() with out parameter
equivalent to nsIDOMFile.getAsText("") 

Current implementation gives an error on nsIDOMFile.getAsText()  
"Not enough arguments [nsIDOMFile.getAsText]"
Nope, cause getAsText was removed.
