User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a8) Gecko/2007091216 GranParadiso/3.0a8 Installed Gran Paradiso, but it is unable to connect to the internet at all, including to check to see if my add ons have compatible versions. When it opens the actual browser it attempts to go to the "You just installed a new version of Firefox" one time screen and to my default homepage, neither of which work. Won't connect to any other websites. Firefox 2.0.0.9 and IE still work, however I just installed an update to EBay Blackthorne (an industrial strength listing engine for companies with an EBay presence) and it too is unable to connect. Not sure if they're related, but I thought I should mention. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Gran Paradiso 2. Voila. 3. Actual Results: Showed a page saying that the browser couldn't find the page. Expected Results: Should connect.
that could have been caused by your firewall software, you have to give correct permissions to the gran paradiso executable to go on the net, this can be caused by zonealarm, comodo PF, or other software firewalls. Please check if that's the case (and mark this resolved Worksforme if applicable) check also: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Error_loading_websites

Vladimir, please try the latest trunk build: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/ Does the problem occur also in Firefox Safe Mode? (it temporarily disables add-ons and themes, this test will help us narrow down the cause of the problem) -- See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode
