User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071004 Iceweasel/2.0.0.8 (Debian-2.0.0.8-1) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071004 Iceweasel/2.0.0.8 (Debian-2.0.0.8-1) When I focus out of a Firefox tab (either switching tabs or focusing out the Firefox window), if the caret is in a textarea then after switching focus back to that tab the caret moves to the start of textarea. (It should not move.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a tab with a textarea. 2. Put caret in any position (except of the start position, that is except the first line first char) in that textarea. (You may need to type some text in the text area in order to be able to move the caret.) 3. Focus out the tab or the Firefox window. 4. Focus the tab with textarea back. 5. Watch that the caret is in the start position (the first line, the first character). Actual Results: Caret moves to the start position (first line, first character). Expected Results: Caret should leave in place.
