I think Lightning is as important a project as Sunbird or Camino and therefore deserves a mentioning on the frontpage.

[I have no authority over this. This is just my opinion.]

There is already considerable whitespace underneath the "Mozilla Foundation" and "Mozilla Store" sections. If we add another project to the "Other Mozilla Software" section, it will look very bad. If Lightning is added, I think one of the existing items should be removed; and right now I wouldn't remove any of the current items, in favour of Lightning.

Lightning uses the same icon as Sunbird? If so, r=me on this as long as you fix bug 405243, too, in order to address Chris's comment. ;)

Right now, it's correct that Lightning uses the same icon as Sunbird. We may revisit this at a later stage, but right now, it's the right choice.
