When I right-click the feed itself, which is a folder with subitems, I get an "Open All in tabs" menu item as the only chance to open this feed. I believe this is as-designed.

(In reply to comment #1) > When I right-click the feed itself, which is a folder with subitems, I get an > "Open All in tabs" menu item as the only chance to open this feed. I believe > this is as-designed. > Please note I'm talking about the "Open <feed title>" item, not the "Open All in Tabs" item. The "Open <feed title>" item only appears in the context menu of feeds.

So you want the behavior of middle clicking on the feed to change from opening all the feed items in tabs to opening the feed location?

(In reply to comment #3) > So you want the behavior of middle clicking on the feed to change from opening > all the feed items in tabs to opening the feed location? > No, I want that middle clicking the feed context menu item "Open <feed title>" to open the feed location in a new tab, since left clicking it opens the feed location in the current tab.

Sorry "Open <feed title>" is not in the feed's context menu, it is inside the feed, below the feed items, near to "Open All in Tabs".

that's a valid concern, i'm expecting the same behaviour as comment #5 steps: 1. add a feed to the bookmarks toolbar 2. open the feed folder and middle click "Open <feed_title>" expected the feed is opened in a new tab actual result: all feed items open in tabs (same behaviour as left clicking Open All in Tabs

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
