Tab bar left scroller arrow shows when only two pages exists, having enough space for both.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Make sure you have "Always show tab bar" disabled (default).
1. Open a new tab.
Actual Results:
The left arrow scroller shows up (disabled).
Expected Results:
No scroller to see; since there is (almost always) space. Obviously, this would change in certain occasions (when there is no space).

No, a recently installed (< 12 hours) build. New profile, no extensions at all. It is less than 2 seconds, maybe you have a faster machine than mine :P Would a screen video help?

Tested on a MAC using OS X v10.5.2 -
No scrollers are shown
Did you mean:
page navigation arrows - go forward/backward one page.

Hmm, no; I'll just mark it INVALID, since I don't see it now.

This happens to me, in Firefox 3 final, but maybe not like it happened to Andrés Delfino. I figured out how to reproduce the bug after some trials:
1. Open Firefox 3
2. Leave only 1 tab opened, making sure you have "Always show tab bar" disabled
3. Load a website, any site that takes a a few seconds to load, and while it's still loading, open a new tab using cmd+T
This will make 2 scroll arrows show, one in the left and one in the right of the tab bar, really quickly, like a blink, and then they will disappear. They don't show when opening a new tab while the single page is fully loaded, only when it's still loading.
Reproduced using Mac OS X v10.5.3 and v10.5.4
- Mac Mini
- 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- 1GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Reproduced this bug using "Safe mode", disabling every extension, it still happened. And I don't use any tab related extensions anyway.
