User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 I have a Dell Premium 7 button Optical USB mouse which I have used with explorer. I got sick of explorer and switched to firefox. I am unable to use my mouse to scroll to back or forward pages. scroll wheel works up and down, but the two side buttons that I used to be able to click to go forward or backward a page, now only scrolls up or down the document but not forward and back pages. I tried the add on extension and it woulnt regonize the movements I am making. What do I need to do so my mouse will let me go back and forth instead of using the keyboard or forward/back tabs. thanks, paul Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I can confirm this is happening since Firefox 3.5 for me. I am using Windows 7, and the mouse buttons work in Explorer views, IE8 and Safari, but not in FF since 3.5, and not fixed in 3.6. Thanks.
