This came up in front of another alert notifying me that a connection could not be made. At the time of installation and startup, I did not have internet access. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1.Disconnect from the internet 2.Install Firefox 3 beta 1 (note: I already had 18.104.22.168 installed) 3.Open the new browser, with the internet still disconnected Actual Results: An additional empty alert appears on top of the alert notifying a failure to find a domain. Expected Results: Either some content in that empty alert, or no additional alert beyond the "cannot find domain" warning.

Looks similar to Bug 292000.
Does this still happen with Firefox 3.6.6 or later in a fresh profile?
