User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 I use an online CRM service (quickbase). We have built into the program buttons that will pull up an email using Outlook. These buttons have all worked fine on previous builds. Ever since we updated to latest version some of the buttons will not work. The only difference that we can see between the other ones that do work and the ones that don't is the length of the email that it's supposed to pull up. Was something changed in the latest version having to do with length of the email using mailto command? It works fine in Explorer, but we do NOT want to go back to IE. Please advise. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click on a mailto command that has a "longer" email 2. no email window comes up 3. Expected Results: A email window in Outlook should pop up with the programmed email.
Primo, can you give me an example of a mailto: that does not work for you? We made some protocol handler changes that might affect this, but I'd need to see the exact mailto: you're using.

Here's a HTML testcase based on comment 2. Primo, if you click the link does it open a mail composition window in your mail program as expected? It works fine for me using Firefox 3.2a1pre + Thunderbird 3.0b2pre on Linux. If it still occurs, please try Firefox 3.0 because we only fix security bugs for Firefox 2.x at this time. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
