I noticed straight away that the new Bookmark Star is not very well visually integrated with the rest of the URL and its surrounding UI components. After seeing the Windows version of FF 3 (Beta 1), which looks as expected. I hope that the Mac OS X version will get the same treatment.

NOTE: I am aware that the hope of FF 3 is to visually compliment the OS its running on, so this ticket could be invalid in later revisions.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
The Bookmark Star component is not visually well integrated with the rest of the URL components from a UI perspective.

Expected Results:
The Bookmark Star component should be visually well integrated with the rest of the URL components from a UI perspective.
I assume you're using the default theme in Firefox 3 Beta 1 and not the new in-development theme that we plan to ship with Firefox 3. You can try it out at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6050 or look at the screenshots in bug 283998.
this bug is incomplete because does not suggest any valid change we could make to address the generic "The Bookmark Star component is not visually well integrated". There are bugs around ti fix padding and margins on the star, if that's the issue.
