Firefox does not allow anymore the use of decimal coordinates in svg files since the update from 2.0.0.8 to 2.0.0.9. The following sample code shows three text lines in FF 2.0.0.8 and only two lines in 2.0.0.9. The coordinates were produced by JavaScript and show decimals due to some calculations. It is sufficient to have one / any coordinate in decimal to get this effect.
Is it now required to round the coordinates in JavaScript?
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<svg id="propertiesArea" version="1.1" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" height="401" width="440">
<svg x="0.1" y="15.1" width="334.2" height="19.2" overflow="visible">
<text x="0" y="15" id="textbox0Text">
visible text (overflow = visible AND decimal coordinates)
</text>
</svg>
<svg x="0.1" width="334.2" height="19.2" y="45.1" overflow="hidden">
<text x="0" y="15" id="textbox1Text">
invisible text (overflow = hidden AND decimal coordinates)
</text>
</svg>
<svg x="0" width="334" height="19" y="85" overflow="hidden">
<text x="0" y="15" id="textbox2Text">
visible text (overflow = hidden AND integer coordinates)
</text>
</svg>
</svg>
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
load the sample code in FF 2.0.0.8 and in FF 2.0.0.9 and compare the result
Actual Results:
in 2.0.0.8 three lines of text appear:
visible text (overflow = visible AND decimal coordinates)
invisible text (overflow = hidden AND decimal coordinates)
visible text (overflow = hidden AND integer coordinates)
in 2.0.0.9 only two lines appear:
visible text (overflow = visible AND decimal coordinates)
visible text (overflow = hidden AND integer coordinates)
Expected Results:
there should be three lines visible in version 2.0.0.9
i didn't check what happens in FF3. Maybe you want to check this as well.

Since we're focusing almost exclusively on trunk now, closing as worksforme. Thanks for testing Brian!
