Using build 2000-05-24 on linux ONLY, when I click New Card while in Address book nothing seems to happen, however when I close all the windows to exit the app. the new card dialog pops up 1. Launch Browser 2. Launch Abook 3. Click on New Card (wait, nothing seems to happen) 4. File|Close Abook 5. File|Close Browser (sometimes I see the New Card dialog pop up sometimes I don't. When it does I close it.
Note: on console I see a "Warning add child failed!! last comment is "we have an even stuck - - removing it."

just out of curiosity, it is possible the new card dialog is behind the other windows?

The first warning text is coming from layout/xul/base/src/nsBoxFrame.cpp line 271. I can't find the second one yet. Esther, did this just happen on 5/24's build? Can you find out on which build it stop working? One more thing, do you have any mailing list in any address book when this happened? Thanks.
Putting on [nsbeta2+] radar for beta2 fix.

I'm getting this on WinNT cvs pull from this morning 5/30/2000. can someone doublecheck NT?
Confirming does not happen on commercial build 2000-05-31 on win98, mac OR linux. So I guess this can be resolved as worksforme now. Will wait until Joseph Elwell can recheck this on the NT again today.
See bug 41025 comment that this was fixed by mscott on 5/30. This can be resolved as fixed, then I will verify.
