User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 I am using AutoIt v3 and Password Exporter v1.0.6 to export my passwords. I wrote the following script to automate it. When I run the script, it runs successfully every alternate attempt and crash with a coredump on alternate attempts. I have attached a copy of the script and the dump file. The plugin and AutoIt3 need to be installed to simulate this crash. If I go through these steps manually ( without using the script), then Firefox does not crash. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Run the script the first time. Note that the passwords are saved successfully. 2.Run the script the second time. This time the password file is saved successfully but the browser crashes and generates a coredump. 3.Run the script the third time. Note that the passwords are saved successfully!! Actual Results: The browser crashes on all even attempts to run the script Expected Results: The browser never crashes :) Not crash.

This is the script I am running. Please note that the script requires the user to have a directory under C:/Temp when the script stores the password file

Coredump file generated by the browser.

It's hard for us to use coredump files. Can you add a breakpad crash ID from about:crashes instead?

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME http://www.mozilla.com http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+mode
