User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Using Firefox 2.0.0.9 working fine When autoupdate for Firefox 2.0.0.10 kicked in Firfox never worked afterwards even after full system reboot. Using Windows XP sp2 Reverted to 2.0.0.9 and is working fine. No interruption of service to ie7 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Installed Firefox 2.0.0.10 which failed 2. Uninstalled Firefox 2.0.0.10 3. Reinstalled Firefox 2.0.0.9 which worked 4. Repeat from 1. above, same result Actual Results: Firefox 2.0.0.10 did not work Firefox 2.0.0.9 did work Expected Results: Firefox 2.0.0.10 should work Additional PC reboots to no avail
Check your firewall (as mentioned in the error page !) - it's allowing 2.0.0.9, but blocking 2.0.0.10 http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firewalls
