Works for me with Firefox 2.0.0.14 and Firefox 3 Beta 5.
Daniel: can you try again to download Firefox 2.0.0.14 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html ?
Version: unspecified → 2.0 Branch

If you can't mount a dmg file, it's either an issue with
/System/Library/CoreServices/Installer or a corruption of the image during its
transfer. It could also be a bad image/error in checksum available on a Mozilla
server. I found no other report of issue with FF2.0.10 in past bugs.
Closing for not getting back to Carsten.
