STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
===================
- create a new profile in thunderbird
- install lightning build 2008112803 or use sunbird build 20081128 with a new profile
- create a second calendar
- choose 'Calendar/Import...' ('File/Import...' in Sunbird)
- select a *.ics-file
RESULT:

- the 'Select Calendar' dialog is empty
EXPECTED RESULT:

- the calendars should be visible in the dialog
REPRODUCIBLE:
=============
- always
Same happens when I try to import a event from a iMip/iTip-eMail
