Make an HTML page with a broken image link, and load in editor. Note how the 
meteors keep spinning, and the page is not editable. Also, on Mac, there is no 
indication taht there is even a missing image.

I filed a bug on the lack of indicaton that there is a broken image -- bug 40623.

I fixed this such that a page with a broken image is editable now. The problem of 
not being able to see a broken image is tracked in bug 40623.
