Firefox does not ship with a extnavigator.dll file. Try searching your system for that file and try and figure out which program installed it. Googleing the file name did not turn up anything.
Are you sure extnavigator.dll did not ship with Firefox? It is in the components folder and there are no extensions or add-ons. When I disable the file the problem disappears, and everything seems to operate correctly. I may try to uninstall then install and see if the files return.
Quite sure, my windows installs do not have that file.
FWIW, Live.com finds a parental control extension for Firefox: http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=extnavigator.dll The .xpi file contains: testing: .autoreg OK testing: ExtNavigator.dll OK testing: ExtNavigator.ini OK testing: install.js OK
Ron, does the problem go away if you update that parental control program, or (if you want to consider that) uninstall it?
Crash is most likely caused by a broken plugin. No response from Reporter. -> INCOMPLETE
