It looks like lots of space are remaining above the highlight so would be better if the highlights are made a little more taller. Highlight for Japanese text in web page looks fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Input Japanese text into search box or location bar 2. Select the texts Actual Results: the top border of the highlight is too low compared to those for English texts. Expected Results: Give more space on top of texts for highlight Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2pre) Gecko/2007120205 Minefield/3.0b2pre ID:2007120205 Windows XP SP2 Japanese

Adding jp-critical and intl since this also applies to Chinese characters. This happens in search box and Find toolbar. Not sure if the keywords are appropriate so please change it if they are not. Thanks.

Don't use jp-critical. Please tell me if you think that a bug should have jp-critical keyword.

(In reply to comment #3) > Don't use jp-critical. Please tell me if you think that a bug should have > jp-critical keyword. > thanks, I wasn't sure if adding jp-critical was appropriate. all I could find was it being used for "Bugs that are deemed critical to Japanese users."
Seems fixed in Fx 3.5.x.
