I can reproduce this under Linux, but not under Windows. Moving to more correct component and confirming.

I can reproduce this on Windows Vista. The pattern seem to be random, but always similar to the attachment. It changes when I clear cache and reload, and seemingly randomly at other times. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9b2pre) Gecko/2007120205 Minefield/3.0b2pre ID:2007120205
This is a regression from the check-in for bug 395170. This was verified via backout.
