Not a security sensitive bug. If the sound doesn't work in IE also, why do you think this is a bug in Firefox, then?

Yes, but since the sound also doesn't work in IE, how can it be a Firefox bug, then?

Firefox doesn't play sound, only plugins do and if this also doesn't work in IE, then is must be something on your system.
