User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.8.1.10) Gecko/20071115 Firefox/2.0.0.10 Build Identifier: 2.0.0.9 Could it be possible, to launch an external handler (firefox terminology) with a configurable set of parameters, each time a phone number in AddressBook contact pane is clicked over ? This feature is somehow present in Outlook through the use of an "Action|Dial this Contact" menu but offering callto://ctiserver/contact?didnumber=$phonenumber&didname=$name&caller=$user tags would be more flexible and natural to use. From my point of view, there's no need to embed any telephony logic within Thunderbird as this could easily be managed by the external handler, given username, callee name and number are handed over. With this feature, Thunderbird would be the first multi-platform to integrate Computer-Telephony and email. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
