Browser is displaying a message it is updated. But later when we check the "type" it is not "Updated".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to "http://landfill.mozilla.org/testopia_tip/"  page
2.Enter user credentials.
3.Click on "search" link under Testopia category.
4.Click on "Find Test Runs" link
5.Scroll down to "Update Selected Test Plans".
6.Select a test run id.
7.Select "Type" from drop down list.
8.Click on "Commit" button without changing other default values.
Actual Results:  
Browser is displaying a message "1 Test Plan Updated".

Expected Results:  
Browser should display a message "1 Test Plan Updated" and later when we check the "type" it should be updated too.
