User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9b1) Gecko/2007110903 Firefox/3.0b1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9b1) Gecko/2007110903 Firefox/3.0b1 The button with the star in the location bar (at the RHS of the address field) displaying a star does nothing useful. In particular, no bookmark is added or removed, as I would expect from the tooltip. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click the button with a star in the RHS of the address field 2. If a dialog appears, hit either button on this dialog 3. Actual Results: Nothing. Well, the star changes color. But the bookmarks remain the same. Expected Results: Because the tooltip says "Bookmark this page" I would expect a bookmark to be added. Or, when I choose Delete, the bookmark to be deleted. Moreover when it should remove a bookmark, I expect to be able to choose in which folder it will be added. Nothing of any of these things actually happen.
reporter check the "Unfiled" folder. That is where the single click starred bookmarks are sent.

1. Which Unfiled folder? There is no folder with this name. 2. When I click the dark star it says it's in *All Bookmarks* (not Unfiled). But also this folder does not exist. 3. It's nopt expeected. AsI said, I expect to just be getting a choice *where* to file it (what should I do with Unfiled items?) This is therefore bad design. 4. There is no documentation. 5. I'm very sorry, but this bug is very valid and sure is not resolved.

Please use the latest nightly build. Things have changed quite a bit since September. Also, the single click behavior of the star is by design. If you want a dialog to choose where to put the new bookmark, double click the star. This is INVALID, please do not reopen it.

Verified. The bookmark features are still under heavy development - you should be using the latest builds if you're reporting issues against them: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/
