Steps to Reproduce:
1. choose View > Folders > All
2. note that Go > Previous > Message is enabled
3. choose View > Folders > Unread
4. choose View > Folders > All
5. note that Go > Previous > Message is now disabled. It shouldn't be!
Actual Results:  
Go > Previous > Message is disabled

Expected Results:  
Go > Previous > Message should still be enabled

Due to an injury I use my computer hands-free and this bug arises when I switch mail folders (which I do without clicking on the folder pane). I've looked  extensively for a workaround but the only one I've found requires clicking on the folder pane, which is painful for me.

I don't see WFM. But I'm not sure the behavior is incorrect. after step 1, go previous (or next) message is only enabled if there is a folder selected.  Likewise, after step 4. 

IOW, View > Folders > All deselects folder and forces previous/next to be disabled. Perhaps related to/same as bug 278386?  And perhaps bug 112658.

I can confirm that this happens on Linux, so confirming.

Perhaps the real problem is that changing to all doesn't select a folder.

WFM.  Previously-selected folder in "All Folders" view is still selected when returning from "Unread" view.  MacOS X, 10.5.8, TB 3.1.1.
