"Form fill doesn't work" seems like a fairly common confusion point for users who try it. We should consider adding a heuristic like "Unless there is a Me card, and it has an address" to detect the problem, and pop up an explanatory dialog telling what the user needs to do to cause form fill to work.

I'd be in favour of this.

Do we want to go so far as to offer up some basic fields the user might wish to fill in and then use that data to create and designate a "Me" card?
Or would we simply prefer to show a dialog that then offers the option to launch Address Book from within Camino?
The former seems a little more foolproof but significantly more work for us; the latter is easier but risks users' not knowing how to designate and fill in a "Me" card once Address Book is launched.

I think that we provide the additional info on the website, possibly as an addendum to http://caminobrowser.org/documentation/faq/#cust_formfill, so that the alert itself can be fairly clean. Something like:
"Make sure you have a “Me” card set in Address Book and that information such as your address is filled in."
And then some set of buttons that opens Address Book, opens the FAQ entry ("More Information"), and maybe lets the user defer until later?
