whatsnew page for anything other than the most recent release should not say "You've been updated to the latest version of firefox"
steps to reproduce:
1) download the old installer for 2001
2) install it
3) the first time you run, you get sent to http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/2.0.0.1/whatsnew/
We use the http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/img/portal-page/whatsnew-title.png image (and the alt tag in the html) for "You've been updated to the latest version of firefox" which is not the case.
