User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 I recently followed a link to http://humanrightsnow.org, only to discover that that website had been hacked and redirected me to the above URL. The script on that web page will repeatedly pop up modal dialogs, popping up another one as soon as you dismiss one. When using tabbed browsing, this makes it impossible to close the tab or switch tabs. It is also not possible to exit Firefox except by killing it using Task Manager or rebooting. I checked how Opera handles the same URL and it has a handy "Stop Running Scripts on this page" checkbox on the dialog. All I need to do is click the checkbox and the malicious script goes away and I can continue browsing. I think that Firefox should have the identical feature. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: visit the above URL.
