Description

ctrl-click on a linked graphic in any svg.
the actual dialogue (not sure of name) is the general one: 
back, reload, save as....

the link aspect is ignored.

the expected one is the link dialogue:
open link in new tab, copy link...

#7 of that bug wfm, as indeed on os x, so similar but different bug

I realise that "#7 is not an SVG file." but what are you infering, suggesting or proposing?

this bug is svg component specific

I'm suggesting that #7 in that bug is irrelevant.

bug 339725 as originally raised is SVG component specific despite the efforts of some of the commenters on it to turn it into something else.

the original attachment, filed the day after the bug is not SVG, and is clearly labelled as such.
 the URI doesn't work, so the only aspect that is SVG is the component.
however that bug was wfm, before jwatt added extra attachments.

I am closing this bug, as you two evidently feel strongly about the matter
