User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2pre) Gecko/2007120905 Minefield/3.0b2pre eMusic DLM/4.0_1.0.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2pre) Gecko/2007120905 Minefield/3.0b2pre eMusic DLM/4.0_1.0.0.1 I tried to check in online for a United flight using the latest nightly, but the boarding pass did not print properly. It prints fine in Firefox 2.0.0.11. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open print.htm in attached zip file. (I attempted to anonymize my boarding pass.) 2. Print the page. Actual Results: A rectangle and a line are printed. Expected Results: Entire boarding pass should have been printed.

Hrm...still doesn't work for me after using a fresh download of the latest nightly and a fresh profile. I also tried both my actual printer and PDFCreator, same result.

Have you tested with the testcase, or an actual United webpage ?

I initially saw the problem with the actual United web page. I then saved the page and edited it to remove my personal information and saw the same problem. BTW, reproducing the problem requires extracting the entire zip file to some directory, and then opening print.htm and printing it. print.htm references other images and stylesheets in the zip. Sorry if that was unclear.

Actually, now WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2007121504 Minefield/3.0b3pre. When I'm back to my Windows machine I'll try to figure out the problem there.

I'm using Firefox 3 beta 2 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2) on Windows XP and my boarding pass didn't print either. When I tried the attached testcase, I got the same results as the United site: I just printed a box and a dotted line. I get the same results to the "document printer" as I do to my real printer. I see the same problem with the nightly: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008010104 Minefield/3.0b3pre Lots of folks use Firefox to print out boarding passes, so I claim that the Firefox 3 release should be blocked on this one. I'm guessing that bug 410071 is somehow related.

Tony, comment 6 suggests that this is fixed in the latest nightlies, can you please check and if not then re-request blocking.

He's on a mac using a build from December 15th. I tried it on Windows using a build from January 1st, so I'm re-requesting blocking: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008010104 Minefield/3.0b3pre

I can reproduce this, using the posted testcase on this build: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008010805 Minefield/3.0b3pre I'm attaching the print-to-file results, with the rectangle and line as described in Comment 0. I'm figuring this is windows-only (as marked), as it sounds like it works on Mac from Comment 6, and I can't reproduce using FF3b2 on Linux.

Bug 410071 has a similar testcase, and it's got a WIP patch posted. I just tested that patch, and it fixes this bug as well. --> Marking this as a duplicate of that bug.

This is fixed in the latest nightly, or, more to the point, the test case prints as expected: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008012704 Minefield/3.0b3pre
