User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b1) Gecko/2007110903 Firefox/2.0.0.6;MEGAUPLOAD 1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b1) Gecko/2007110903 Firefox/2.0.0.6;MEGAUPLOAD 1.0 I use a proxy with login required, and I saved the password. Whenever I type something on the google search, a new window will appear asking my username&password, the form should be filled but both of it are empty, i think this is caused by the search suggestion. the username&password only appears after i press enter on the search. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.use a proxy that requires login 2.make sure firefox saved the ID already 3.restart firefox 4.type something on google search 5.a new window will appear asking you username&password with empty form Actual Results: the username&password boxes are empty Expected Results: the username&password boxes should be filled automatically
That can happen if you have 2 sets of username/passwords stored for the same form (possibly identical). Check in Tools->Options->Security->Passwords if this is the case.
Is this still a problem with Firefox 3.0.10 or the Firefox 3.5 beta 4?
