Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11
Build Identifier: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/webtools/bugzilla-3.0.2.tar.gz
Using Internet Explorer ( Version 6 and 7) will force users to login each time they change or select different options from the menu.
For Example:
Users will be prompted to login the first time they started, and selecting for instance 'New' to enter a fresh bug they will be prompted to enter their login again. This happens to all using IE against Bugzilla 3.0.2 but not 2.18.1. Using Firefox this problem is not an issue, it is as expected. Is there a fix around this issue?
N.B This is not a problem with Bugzilla 2.18.1 at all.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start IE (6 or 7)
2. login to bugzilla
3.select New,# Preferences, Report or any then you will be prompt to log in
Actual Results:
You get prompted to enter you user/password on every instance.
Expected Results:
Should allow you to save your login info and not to be asked again to login for the duration of the session at least.
Bugzilla is running on REDHAT 5.0 enterprise Apache 2.4.6 compiled from source.

People often report problems like this--they are always local issues with a proxy or some security software eating cookies or otherwise interfering with communication between clients and Bugzilla.
I can't reproduce this with IE on my Bugzilla 3.0 installation.
