Details

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070326 Thunderbird/2.0.0.0 Mnenhy/0.7.5.666 - Build ID: 2007121204 Sometimes Thunderbird behaves like it can log in into an POP3 account, but it doesn't (the new mails aren't received by Thunderbird). After logging in with the browser, the webmail frontend shows a four digit number of invalid authentication tries (because it takes time to detect the problem). After restarting Thunderbird (and retyping the password like on every startup), everything works fine. Maybe I typed the wrong password in the session. Mail provider: gmx.net Reproducable: Have seen the problem several times in the last months.
Please attach a POP3 protocol log: <http://www.mozilla.org/quality/mailnews/mail-troubleshoot.html#pop> (but make sure it's not caused by mnenhy or another extension)
Haven't seen this problem in the last half year.
->WFM then - if you start seeing it again, please get the log (from comment 1).
