User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.9 Running Vista Business, using high-DPI settings (120 DPI). When I respond to an email that was composed in HTML mode in MS Outlook, Thunderbird's Compose window shows large portions of the quoted text with negative line spacing, i.e. lines stacked on each other and overlapping. This makes the affected text illegible. When I send messages with such text, they appear fine in some mail clients (Gmail, apparently Outlook), but definitely not in Thunderbird or Yahoo Mail. When I get messages from Outlook RESPONDING to my emails that contain quoted text, the text I quoted appears normal again. I suspect this might have something to do with the high-DPI settings on my Vista machine, but I'm not sure. I've never had this problem with Thunderbird on my XP machine (which uses 96 dpi), or on Ubuntu. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Receive an email composed in MS Outlook that has HTML formatting. 2. Forward or Reply To the message in Thunderbird.
Sorry, just realized this is a bug with the Signature Switch add-on. If you hide the signature, the quoted text becomes normal again.
