User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; FreeBSD i386; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071125 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; FreeBSD i386; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071125 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Search for various existing data in XML document fails in ~50% cases Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load page 2. Try to search for 'Test', '532'. It fails 3. Click somewhere on XML 4. Searching 'Test' succeeded, but '532' fails Actual Results: Sometimes search fails, sometimes not. Sometimes i can find match by searching for '32' (skipping first byte) and can't find match for the full field Expected Results: Search should work on XML document Tested on 2.0.0.11/linux and 2.0.0.11/winxp with nearly same results
I have the same problem under WinXP/FF 3.0.7 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009021910 Firefox/3.0.7 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) This issue is similar to #408665

This bug was originally reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.6 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME http://www.mozilla.com http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+mode
