Steps: 1. Open a menu, say bookmarks 2. Hover over an item so it is highlighted and the mouse is over it 3. Press Windows key + M (shortcut for Minimize All) 4. Press Shift + Windows key + M (shortcut for Restore All) A ghost of the menu appears, or sometimes garbage appears where the menu was. Reopening the menu fixes the problem. This isn't a regression, it also applies to Firefox 2. Reproducible on Vista and XP.
I have also seen this bug on Linux (Ubuntu 9.04), both in Thunderbird and in Sunbird. In Thunderbird 184.108.40.206, when I over a message with a long subject line, a tooltip appears. But if I move to a different gnome desktop, I still see the tooltip hovering over some other application. In Sunbird 0.9, if I hover over an event that has a long description, a tooltip appears. The same thing happens when I move to another desktop, the tooltip lingers, even though Sunbird is no longer in sight.
Don't see this anymore.
