User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 This affects only tabbed browsing. When opening more than 1 tab firefox.exe cpu increased to between 25-50% all the time. As soon as second tab is closed cpu returns to 0%. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open firefox 2.open second tap 3.monitor cpu Actual Results: excessive cpu memory used Expected Results: excessive cpu memory used This slows system down too much and stops me from using it even though i prefer it over ie7. ie7 does not have this problem even when >10 taps are opened. It is very annoying.

Is this problem reproducible if you make a new test profile for firefox? - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_manager
Version: unspecified → 2.0 Branch
