If I select an event from the list on "calendar" tab and after  I Click on "delete" on toolbar, the button don't have effects: the event still remains in list.

I assume you mean the event list with the search field above the main calendar view? Works for me using Lightning 0.8pre (2008011918) + Thunderbird 2.0.0.12pre (20080118) with local storage calendar.

Is the calendar in read-only mode? Is it local or remote calendar?
WFM using Lt 2008012609 and local ics

Probably i'm in error.

I select the event on my calendar on 02/09/2007 and I click "Delete" (italian translation it is "Elimina") on TB toolbar. This button not have effect.

Reporter, what type of calendar do you use? Can you reproduce the issue with the latest 0.9pre nightly builds?

With Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; it; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080421 Lightning/0.9pre Thunderbird/2.0.0.14 ID:2008042104 (Lightning 2008052219) I can't reproduce this issue. For me it is resolved!
