Additional Information:
I tried with the official M15 and IE5. It's working fine.
I tried with the official M15 under Linux. It's working fine.

I downloaded the page to test in local with M16 and then try deleting some part
of the html, but it's working fine without changing anything.
I downloaded the home page with IE5. So it saved all the pictures and changed
the link to get the pictures in local.

Here is the information of Help/About :
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; m16) Gecko/20000521

By the way, thank you for your _great work_. I'm using Mozilla since M8.
Hopes this report will be usefull.

Erik
Crashing here too, W/98. GKHTML before the page even begins to render. ->NEW
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Tested on PC/Linux. Builds 052908 and 052109 don't crash for me.
Is this Win-only?
On PC/Linux, also build 2000052120 doesn't crash for me.
Severity: minor → critical
Keywords: crash
Summary: site loading crash → site loading crash (www.ibm.com)
IBM is running a rare server: "IBM-Planetwide/10.45 Domino-Go-Webserver/4.6" on
AIX. It must be confusing win32 mozilla. It seems to returning a long 200 code:

$ wget www.ibm.com
--18:24:34--  http://www.ibm.com:80/
           => `index.html'
Connecting to www.ibm.com:80... connected!
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 IBM-Planetwide Document OK
Length: 18,516 [text/html]

I'll take a wild stab in the dark and send it to the necko folks.
Component: Browser-General → Networking
If it's crashing in GKHTML, it's probably not a Necko problem. Could someone
get a stack trace?
Changing component back to B-G so it shows up on radar. (It was never really
reassigned to Necko folks.)
Component: Networking → Browser-General
i can see that page
win98 SE 2000053020
I can load www.ibm.com without a crash (PC/Linux, build 2000060308).
Erik and Jeremy, are you still seeing this with current builds ?
Not still seeing it. See also bug 41422
There also exist bug 41243 "Crashed at SinkContext::CloseContainer"
and bug 37809 "crashes at gc_root_marker" about crashes related to www.ibm.com.
Windows 95, build ID 2000060408 -> crash
Linux, build ID 2000060409 -> no crash

This seems to be a windows specific one... And a rather odd one. When trying to
create a simplified test case, lines I took out at one point stopped the
crashing (or at least rendered a blank page which crashed on reloading it), but
when I removed them later it still crashed.

Anyway, I'll attach a simplified testcase. The culprit seems to be a combination
of "Strict HTML 4" / "XHTML 1.0" and <?xml ...?>

It seems two of the bug reports mentioned here (bug 41243 and bug 41422) are of
this one, though I wouldn't be surprised if there's more than one bug involved
in this.
