auto complete is disabled in my configurations but does not turn off. it stil tries to complete when trying to type anything in the search bar.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

how can Firefox restore a previous sessions if it's deleting private data every time i close the browser? even if it locks up sometimes and i close it through task manager, delete private data upon restart, the data should be gone..not an option to restore previous session.
You mean that you get search suggestions? Possibly you have the preference to true in about:config.

If you set browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash to false it will not restore the session anymore after killing the process. You can see that sessionstore.js in your profile will be deleted when you change the pref to false.
