when tab dragged, the dragged area is too big.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. drag a tab when xcompmgr running with shadows
2. look at shadowed area - it's too big
Actual Results:  
shadowed area - it's too big

Expected Results:  
shadowed area - it's normal

Summary is now "when tab drahhed, the SHADOW is too big", but shadow is window manager dependent. eg metacity doesn't provide shadows, so issue is invisible.

dragged area is too big, not the shadow!

Jakub: The way the summary is written let us think that it's the tab that is drawn too big; maybe say that the dragged area includes a big chunk of transparent material ?

How can you be sure that the bug exists without composite managers, since there is no visual feedback of the bug ?

"SHADOW is too big" is the symptom. You are probably right when you say that it's not the compositor's fault, but you shouldn't add your assumptions in the description of the symptom of a bug, because if you're wrong you send the devs to a wrong direction. Lacking a better description of the bug, I think that "shadow" is better.

But do what you want, it's your bug after all.

Hmmm, I can't notice bug for now, because Compiz doesn't draw shadows for dragged objects, libnotify popups and some other types of windows.

Please keep bug opened.
