I have noticed that for the last few days My automatic software updater is stuck in an infinite loop. I have no I idea why. It seems to get stuck on trying to download a nightly build from 1-04-05. It says that it has found an update and wants me to download and install which I choose to do. Then it stays stuck on the software update box and stays on connecting to update server and does nothing. If I quit firefox completely and reopen it I get the same dialog. I came home today and it said that it had a new update to download. It downloaded and installed just fine. But as soon as Minefield restarted, I got the new update dialog box again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I just let Minefield automatically to notify me when new updates are available.
2. I tried to download the nightly build, but it stays on connecting to update server.
3. Close firefox completely and the cycle starts all over.
Actual Results:
The cycle keeps repeating itself and I can't get it to stop. Even if I disable automatic updates, and try to manually check for updates, I get the same results.

Expected Results:
It should just download the updates and be done.
Version: unspecified → Trunk
That's bug 410485 I presume.

I caught it too, and I fixed it by downloading a whole new version from <http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/>
